Privacy Policy
TrueMonitor is a native client for user-owned TrueNAS servers. This policy explains what the app stores locally, what it does not collect, and how support contact works.
Data the app stores locally
TrueMonitor may store the following information on your device:
- Server display names, hostnames or IP addresses, ports, TLS settings, and protocol preferences.
- Recent server state returned by the TrueNAS API so the interface can update while the app is open.
- API keys or credentials in the iOS Keychain.
Data the developer does not collect
TrueMonitor does not require a TrueMonitor cloud account, does not operate a hosted monitoring backend, and does not send your TrueNAS server details, API keys, pool names, alert data, or dashboard telemetry to the developer.
Direct server connections
When you add a server, the app connects directly from your device to the TrueNAS endpoint you provide. Data returned by that server is controlled by your TrueNAS configuration and network.
Support contact
If you email support, the information you choose to include in that message is used to respond to your request. Do not send production API keys, passwords, private IP inventories, or screenshots that reveal sensitive infrastructure.
Third-party services
The app does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Apple may provide crash diagnostics or App Store information according to your device and Apple account settings.
